It is less dusty here than Kandahar, but not by much. These tire prints show the thickness of it. This is dirt, but none of that is hard–it’s like talcum powder, and just brushing my foot across those treads would remove the imprint. The dust here is about 2-3 inches thick. At Kandahar, it could get 5-6 inches thick.
